Finnish Software Entrepreneurs Association is a non-aligned association for innovative,
professional, growth-friven and entrepreneurial software business executives.
Association drives the success of software business as an industry and supports
individual software companies in their road to success. Currently, there
are approximately 200 members. Association operates Finland-wide, covering all
the major cities having software companies and entrepreneurship. We
offer broad offering for software company executives including training, networking,
business development forums, growth cliniquesa and ability to impact the governmental
and industry-level decission making. Our intent is to raise the awareness
of software business as one of the key growing industries in Finland. We are also
pushing positive messages out to the media to improve image of industry and the
copanies within. Plans for the future We are going to focus
on developing the associations infrastructure and operations. Our goal is to include
more activities that the members find interesting: seminars, educational events,
information and know-how exchange, and help in recruiting board members, investors,
and employees. We will also try to influence the key players and decision
making in the field, but without getting involved in the politics. We want to
position ourselves as an association for the top management of the software industry.
Our goal is to double our membership within the next two years. The
software industry, now and in the future We continue to represent a growing,
dynamic, and fast-paced industry. Commercialization of software will grow more
important, replacing traditional programming. That's one of the reasons why we
are working to pull business developers and marketing professionals into the software
companies. It is also important to know your customer's business. The
Finnish software industry is not going to compete for subcontracts on price. There
will always be a cheaper offer from another part of the world. Instead, it is
important to develop innovation partnerships where a software company can take
responsibility for problem solving and innovations in a particular sector and
provide the work needed. Any inquiries, please contact:
